Tuesday, June 22, 2027

Rehearsal

3:00 - 4:30 pm. The Ruins at the Astor (1425 Commercial Street).

Only wedding party needed in attendance!

Rehearsal Dinner

5:00 - 8:00 pm. Daphne (125 Ninth Street).

A dinner exclusive to the wedding party and immediate family, in order to thank them for their hard work.

Hair & Makeup with the Bride

9:00 am - 3:00 pm. The Bridal Suite at The Bowline (Downstairs at The Ice House, 1 Ninth Street).

Close family and friends of the bride are free to stop by and sip a glass of champagne as she and her bridal party get ready. Makeup appointment times prearranged. Groomsmen are strictly forbidden. GTFO, Lyle!

Hair & Makeup with the Groom

9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Location TBD.

Men deserve to look pretty too. Close family and friends of the groom can toast to his good health with a little whiskey from Pilot House Distillery.

The Astoria Riverfront Trolley Service

We have chartered the historic Astoria Riverfront Trolley to transport our guests along the Columbia River. To reach The Ruins at the Astor, alight at the Fourteenth Street stop and walk South until you reach Commercial Street. To reach The Loft at the Red Building, alight at Basin Street. Doors at each venue will open 30 minutes before ceremony and reception.

4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Astoria Riverfront.

The Ceremony

5:00 - 6:00 pm. The Ruins at the Astor (1425 Commercial Street).

The bride and groom invite their guests to join them as they become man and wife.

6:00 - 7:00 pm. The Astoria Riverfront Trolley. (Fourteenth Street Stop to Basin Street Stop).

Cocktail Hour

All aboard! Take the Astoria Riverfront Trolley all the way to the reception venue on Basin Street. Champagne and cocktails will be served. Guests who cannot walk to the trolley stop will be accommodated.

Photos

6:00 - 7:00 pm. The Ruins at the Astor (1425 Commercial Street).

The bride and groom request that the wedding party hang back for pictures at the reception venue. Wedding party members will be released as quickly as possible so that they can head to the reception and join the festivities!

Reception: The Dinner

7:00 - 9:00 pm. The Loft at the Red Building (20 Basin Street).

Dinner will be buffet-style, featuring the flavors of the Northwest.

Reception: The Toast

8:30 - 9:00 pm. The Loft at the Red Building (20 Basin Street).

Once everyone has served themselves, there will be a wedding toast and a few minutes for speeches from select members of the wedding party.

Reception: The Party

9:00 - 11:00 pm. The Loft at the Red Building (20 Basin Street).

All guests are invited to enjoy an evening of dancing, the morsiamen ryöstö (“kidnapping of the bride”), and maybe even a little karaoke.

Post-Wedding Brunch

The newly styled Mr. & Mrs. Hootman-Friederichs would like to extend an invitation to their guests to join them in nursing their headaches over some brunch.
